Material
Polyurethane is a two-component material composed by polyol and isocyanate. These two elements mixed together through special machines, are able to generate different products with different technical characteristics.
An important feature of polyurethane is its ability to resist water and humidity. This makes it a suitable material for manufacturing products such as foams and sealants that are exposed to damp or wet environments. Additionally, polyurethane is resistant to most chemicals, including oils, greases and solvents, making it suitable for use in many industrial applications.
Polyurethane is also used as a thermal and acoustic insulator. This property makes it ideal for the insulation of buildings and industrial plants, as well as for the production of insulation boards and foams.
It is used in the most varied sectors such as furniture, automotive, boating, medical, sport, occupational safety and leisure.
Kuberth specializes in the molding of integral polyurethane, a two-component material composed of polyol with 4th generation blowing agents HFO and isocyanate.
The main feature of this material is the presence of an external “skin” capable of making this material more resistant and usable even in outdoor environments. The density of integral polyurethane can vary according to specific requests, but is generally higher than that of other types of polyurethane, such as flexible foam. This makes it suitable for applications where higher strength and better shock absorbency is needed.
Our products are completely painted with IMC (In Mold Coating) technology to enhance the surface finish of the piece avoiding post-molding finishing treatments.
